Day 1: Arrival Delhi

The journey of a lifetime begins at the Delhi Railway station where the guests are accorded a warm, traditional welcome before the Palace-on-Wheels pulls out into the night for a week-long luxury cruise through fascinating Rajasthan
Day 2: Delhi - Jaipur
On your arrival at Jaipur- the pink city of India- you are greeted by colorfully decorated Elephants and a Shehnai recitation. Enjoy a half-day sightseeing tour of Jaipur. You will visit the Hawa Mahal- the palace of winds - followed by the visit of magnificent Amber Fort. Enjoy an elephant ride at the Fort. Thereafter, you can enjoy shopping for Jaipur's famous jewelry, handicrafts, carpets blue pottery and textiles.
After lunch at the famous Rambagh Palace Hotel, visit Jantar Mantar (the largest observatory built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh) and the City Palace. Return back to the Palace on Wheels and we start for Jaisalmer. Enjoy dinner onboard the train.
Day 3: Jaipur - Jaisalmer
Famous as 'the Golden City of India', Jaisalmer is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Rajasthan. The city is famous for its golden fort and beautiful havelis (mansions). Visit the famous Patwon ki haveli, Nathmalji ki haveli and Salim Singh ki haveli. Thereafter, shop at Rajasthali- the only emporium of Rajasthan Govt. offering fine pattu shawls, mirror work & embroidered articles, wooden boxes, trinkets, silver jewelry and curios.
After lunch onboard, enjoy an exciting camel ride on the sand dunes of Sam. Dinner on the sand dunes under the moonlit sky is another highlight of your visit. Thereafter, enjoy a colorful cultural program at a hotel in Jaisalmer. Later, return back to the Palace on Wheels to start for Jodhpur.
Day 4: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur

Next morning, the Palace-on-Wheels is in Jodhpur, a city ringed by a high stone wall with seven gates and several bastions. This second largest city of Rajasthan, founded by Rao Jodha in 1459 A.D. is known for its rock-solid Mehrangarh Fort. The grand palaces within -Moti Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, Phool Mahal, Sileh Khana and Daulat Khana are impressive examples of architectural excellence. Near the fort complex lies Jaswant Thada, and a group of royal cenotaphs made of white marble. After lunch at a Palace hotel, return to the Palace-on-Wheels. While in Jodhpur shop for exquisite handicraft articles including the famous breeches, embroidered shoes, metal curios, silverware, paintings and tie and dye fabrics.
Day 5: Jodhpur- Sawai Madhopur - Chittorgarh
Sawai Madhopur is famous for its proximity to the Ranthambore National Park- one of the most famous National Parks and Tiger Reserves of India. Enjoy a jeep safari to explore the flora and fauna of the Park. Enjoy tracking tigers, chital, deer, monkeys and a wide variety of exotic and colorful birds. Also visit the 10th century Ranthambore Fort. Thereafter you return to the Palace on Wheels and we start for Chittorgarh. After lunch on board, you are in Chittaurgarh. Images of love and velour; scars of battles lost and won...thrice-besieged, Chittaurgarh Fort is all this and more. In Evening, proceed to Udaipur.
Day 6: Chittorgarh - Udaipur
In the morning, a luxury coach takes you to Udaipur- famous as the city of lakes. Enjoy a memorable tour of the palaces, forts and temples at Udaipur. Visit the two most beautiful landmarks of Udaipur- the Jag Niwas (Lake Palace) and the Jag Mandir, which appear to rise from the blue waters of Lake Pichola. Enjoy lunch at the Lake Palace Hotel. The luxury coach then takes you back to the Palace on Wheels at Chittorgarh. Board the train at Chittorgarh and we start for Bharatpur.
Day 7: Udaipur - Bharatpur - Agra
In the morning, the Palace on Wheels arrives in Bharatpur, the capital of Maharaja Suraj Mal . After breakfast pay a visit to the world famous bird sanctuary, Keoladeo Ghana National Park, the nesting place for thousands of Egrets, Siberian Cranes, migratory Water Fowl and other species of birds. Upon arrival visit the Agra Fort and after lunch arrive at the Taj Mahal, one of the seven wonders of the world. A pristine monument of undying love. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved queen Mumtaz Mahal. Agra is known for its splendid marble inlay work like the Pietra Dura work on the Taj, leather goods and jewellery.
Day 8: Agra - Delhi
Arrive at Delhi Railway station in Evening. Breakfast on board and let the pleasant memories of the past week linger on your mind for a long, long time.Dinner and transfer to airport to board onward flight.
